I have been transformed as an artist and photographer and artist because this app allows me to truly express my vision and enhances the feel I have in my work. It has made me consider not using my DSLR. I love it on my iPad and I love it on my iPhone...it is the essence of a brilliant app. Cant wait to see what comes next. Easy to use.

This is one of 4 art apps I use for photo art editing. I get some of my best results with certain photos in this app. I would like to see an update for a wider selection of effects and ways to blend them. It would become a great app with that.

I just started to use more of my apps for photo editing. Love the ease of this one...my go to app for the distressed look!

I love this app! I use it a lot for my photos. The only thing I would like to see is a way to see my original side by side the distressed photo.

IMO, having the additional birds makes this app a nice addition to other iPad art apps that I use. As another user suggested , it would be REALLY nice to fit the birds into other places, i.e., move them to other parts of the artwork, split the bird pattern in half, make them less/more prominent, by color saturation, &/or sizing. In other words ... To be able to customize them to be where & how we want them. Right now, what you see (& pay for) is what you get. Im not a big filter gal (I prefer to do it myself), but there are a couple that I like. Its the birds that I enjoy having access to. An addition of butterflies, bugs, lizards, etc., would be great!

A very simple app to navigate for quick and cool effects. Can be very easily overused, so pull the reigns in using the palette slider tool, and enjoy!

And more fun than hipstomatic in my opinion!!!

Really nice collection of grotty/grungey filters to distress your photos.

I absolutely love this app! I just discovered that there are supposed to be additional birds to download by clicking on a link within the Birds filter. I have NO link.

This is my favorite effects app for photography. Pictures take on a different an awesome appearance from making it look like a different picture to light effect.

This is one of my favorite apps for texturizing and filtering. Love the stacking ability. Its simply wonderful and easy to use. All my students have amazing success right off with this app, yet its versatile enough for the advanced iPhone artist. BTW, the birds is my least favorite part of the app. iPhone Diva

This app provides customizable filters and textures and a great set of birds. But the app needs to be updated. Please update. I want to continue to use.

This is too nice of an app to not update. Birds are getting tired forever wheeling in the same old skies. An upgrade and new textures would be lovely. Ill bring it up to 5 and pass the word on.

The long-awaited update is now crucial. Even my new iPad says that its needed in order to continue with my filtering when I use DistressedFX!
